As usual, I couldn't help myself and went out on a hunt for new, inexpensive makeup products. I've been obsessed with doing this lately and also amazed at how many high quality products there are for SO cheap!
Here are the items I picked up:
This palette is by Giovi. I paid $2.99 for it and it's fantastic! That shimmery light pink in the left-hand corner is lighter than it appears in the photo (as are all the shadows) and is perfect for highlighting. This photo doesn't do them any justice, they are stunning and VERY pigmented. I purchased this at Rite Aid.
These palettes are by Profusion. I got Color #1 and again, the photo just doesn't do it justice at all. The green shadow in the middle on the right-hand side is this light, mossy green color that is so metallic and gorgeous, and the dark purple on the bottom left is also beautiful. I can see myself using that one for a really stunning smokey eye. The best part, this palette was ONE DOLLAR!! Purchased at Walgreens. This lipstick is by NYC, called Chiffon. It's a sheer, very light, frosty pink. I usually stay away from frost but this caught my eye and I actually really like it. It looks great on it's own or layered over another matte shade. Said to be a dupe for and mix of MAC's Opal, and Viva Glam Gaga. $.99 at Walgreens.
(The following photos are not my nails!)
This is Mint Sorbet, by Sally Hansen. I have been looking for this shade for a few weeks now for spring and this is exactly what I wanted, a nice matte, mint green. I think this was $1.99 at Walgreens but don't quote me on that.
This is Boogie Nights, by Sinful Colors. I'm wearing it now and LOVE it. It's the perfect corally-orange. $1.99 at Fred Meyer.
I loooove this one. It's called Just You Wait (I think that's so cute). It's just a very sheer, iridescent shade with a hint of baby pink. Perfect for just a pretty, natural look. I got a coupon for this shade and the other Sinful Colors one so this one was half off. I got both for $3.
I'd say this little haul was a success. Six items for $10! Awesome!
